Jaylen Brown showed no mercy to a fellow Jalen with his latest dunk.

Brown, the NBA’s runner-up in the 2023-24 Slam Dunk Contest, reminded everybody how unforgiving he can be at the rim on Friday night.

The Celtics’ star was undefended the entire way to the basket with less than nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter against the Bulls. Nobody on the floor for Chicago touched Brown until it was too late, when he jumped up from the middle of the paint and posterized the Bulls’ Jalen Smith, hand on his opponent’s chest and all, with 8:43 left in regulation.

Watch the vicious one-handed dunk:

The massive slam gave Boston a 108-105 lead at the time, eliciting a memorable response from the Celtics’ television play-by-play voice.

“Oh my goodness! The gravedigger has arrived in Chicago!” NBC Sports Boston’s Drew Carter yelled.

Brown appeared to let out a scream of his own directly toward Smith’s face after the poster.

This isn’t the first time he’s embarrassed fellow NBA players with his right arm, and it certainly won’t be his last. Brown has a history of nasty dunks on stars from Rudy Gobert to Donovan Mitchell to LeBron James.

His posters have become more merciless over time, which finally landed him in the dunk contest last season. Brown made it to the championship round, but ultimately fell to the Magic’s Mac McClung.

Given his latest poster, perhaps the league will ask Brown to compete in this season’s dunk contest, as well.
