Who says that Bostonians can’t be courteous?
Well, in some regards.
Dallas Mavericks star guard Luka Doncic witnessed it in the lead-up to Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night while signing autographs at TD Garden.
As Doncic signed t-shirts, cards, and jerseys just before making his way down the tunnel, one young Celtics fan beckoned to the guard and asked for a quick selfie photo.
Doncic obliged, prompting a “thank you, bro” from the grateful Celtics youngster.
But just seconds later, the fan couldn’t resist when it came to getting a dig in against Dallas’ top player.
“It’s still Celtics in four, though. You know it’s Celtics in four, right?” the fan said as Doncic continued to snap more photos. As Doncic made his way off the court, the fan flashed four fingers up and then ended his chirp with “zero points!”

Doncic scored 30 points in the Mavericks’ Game 1 loss on Thursday night, so a goose egg on the scoresheet likely won’t be in the cards for Game 2.
But Doncic still had a relatively rough shooting night on Thursday from beyond the arc (4 of 12 from 3-point range) and only recorded one assist.
