Paul Pierce is in the process of lining up a media gig.

According to Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post, Pierce will likely join FS1’s Undisputed as a contributor.

The deal isn’t done yet, but could be finalized as early as this week, Glasspiegel said.

The show is hosted by Skip Bayless, who appears with a rotating cast of guests including Michael Irvin, Richard Sherman, and Keyshawn Johnson. Shannon Sharpe, who was Bayless’s previous co-host, left for ESPN and continues to host his podcast “Club Shay Shay.”

With the NBA playoffs approaching, Pierce’s could help bolster Undisputed’s basketball coverage. His connections to the Celtics, who currently have the best record in the NBA, also wouldn’t hurt.

Pierce, who won an NBA title with the Celtics in 2008 and has been enshrined as a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer, also has prior media experience.

He was an analyst at ESPN, but was fired in 2021 after posting a video of himself drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana, and partying.

Pierce currently hosts the “Ticket & The Truth” podcast with former Celtics teammate Kevin Garnett.
