The Celtics seemingly scored at will against the Golden States Warriors on Sunday on TD Garden — setting a new franchise record for points in a half (82) en route to a dominant 140-88 win.
That seemingly endless barrage of buckets was showcased in a new video posted by the Celtics on Tuesday that has quickly gone viral.
In a reality-warping video posted by the team, the Celtics scored seven straight baskets against the Warriors — with some crafty editing making it look like a never-ending surge of buckets down Golden State’s end of the court.
As a testament to Boston’s team-wide scoring salvo, four different players sink baskets against Golden State in the video — with Jaylen Brown connecting on three 3-pointers, Jayson Tatum scoring twice, Payton Pritchard converting on a tough layup and Luke Kornet throwing down a dunk off a slick feed from Derrick White.

The Celtics’ video — which has now been viewed more than 8.5 million times on the social media platform X — was crafted by team video producer Gage Duchon, a 20-year-old Northeastern student.
In a feature story by Noa Dalzell of CelticsBlog, Duchon admitted that putting together the full edit of the 37-second video took him six hours.
“I can’t even put it into words how much these fans care about this stuff,” Duchon told Dalzell. “It’s crazy to me, seeing so many comments. People reached out to me personally about the video – they’re not even talking about the team, or the players, they’re talking about how cool the video is. I have a very strong appreciation for that.”
