Four Celtics players questionable for Friday’s game due to ‘health and safety’ protocols

Robert Williams, Grant Williams, Carsen Edwards, and Tristan Thompson are all on the list.

Four Boston Celtics players are listed as questionable due to health and safety protocols for their game against the Washington Wizards on Friday, the team announced.

Those four players include Robert Williams, Grant Williams, Carsen Edwards and Tristan Thompson. All four played in Boston’s win over the Miami Heat on Wednesday.

Celtics guard Javonte Green was not on the injury report. He was listed “out” due to health and safety protocols on Dec. 30.

Per the Athletic’s Shams Charania, four new NBA  players were positive for COVID-19 out of the 498 who underwent testing since Dec. 30.

Jeff Teague is listed as questionable on the injury report as he nurses a sprained ankle. Kemba Walker and Romeo Langford remain out.
