Jayson Tatum buried a game-winning jumper against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, lifting the Celtics to a 122-120 win.

Tatum set a screen on Blake Griffin, forcing Jerami Grant to switch onto Marcus Smart while Griffin picked up Tatum. Then Tatum went directly to work, taking two quick dribbles to his left and pulling up for a mid-range jumper when Griffin went down. The jumper gave Boston a two-point advantage, and Detroit – which had no timeouts remaining – was forced to fire up a tough look at the buzzer that appeared to be partially blocked.
Tatum finished with 24 points and 12 assists as the Celtics improved to 4-3.
