The Celtics lost on a last-second shot from Rajon Rondo on Thursday night, falling to the Lakers at TD Garden, 129-128.
Both the Bruins and Celtics play on Saturday. The Bruins are home against the Kings at 1 p.m., while the Celtics are also home to face the Clippers at 8 p.m.
Jayson Tatum offered his trade-deadline thoughts: With the NBA trade deadline now over, certain Celtics players, who had been rumored to be included in hypothetical trades, know that they will still be on the team for the rest of the season. This includes Jayson Tatum.
“Yeah, I’m glad to still be on the team. I know everybody else was probably watching so I’m glad it’s over with,” Tatum said on Thursday, before adding, “For now.”
For the Celtics, the summer will provide a resumption of the trade rumors. However, in the short term, the team is now set for a playoff run.
“It feels great,” Tatum added. “Everybody in here wants to be here, and we enjoy playing with each other, being around each other. Hopefully, we just stay healthy and give it our best shot.”

What you need to know about Red Bull Crashed Ice
: Fenway Park is playing host to another winter sports event. Two years after the Big Air at Fenway, Red Bull is in town to stage an ice cross downhill event as part of their “Crashed Ice” series.
The setup, which has been constructed over six weeks, is a 1,200-foot-long winding ice course. Racers descend from a seven-story platform constructed in right field, winding their way to home plate. The event takes place tonight and Saturday night. On Thursday, Hilary Knight and a few of her former Boston Pride teammates had a chance to skate around in the unusual setting.
