Celtics list Marcus Smart as questionable for Game 5 against Bucks

Celtics guard Marcus Smart’s return keeps inching closer and closer.

According to Boston’s latest injury report, issued Monday evening, Smart is “questionable” for Tuesday night’s Game 5 against Milwaukee.

Hayward (left ankle rehab) – OUT
Irving (left knee surgery) – OUT
Smart (right thumb surgery) – QUESTIONABLE
Theis (left knee surgery) – OUT

Smart has been sidelined since mid-March after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right thumb. He is scheduled to visit New York City for a doctor’s appointment Tuesday.
