Gordon Hayward’s daughters are doing their best to help dad feel better

After successfully undergoing surgery to repair his fractured left ankle, Gordon Hayward has returned home. And his rehabilitation process will begin immediately, according to Celtics coach Brad Stevens.

To lift his spirits through the ups and downs of recovery, Hayward will have his two adorable daughters, Charlie and Bernie, by his side. On Monday, Hayward’s wife, Robyn, shared an Instagram post of a solemn Gordon snuggling up to their 15-month-old on the couch. She captioned the black-and-white photo: “Charlie’s definitely a daddy’s girl.”

Earlier in the week, Robyn also shared a photo of their girls decorating a homemade get well sign that read, “We love you Daddy.”
