Gordon Hayward visited this Boston barbershop for a haircut
Three days after thanking Utah for seven impactful seasons, Gordon Hayward arrived in Boston to take care of some very important business. The soon-to-be Celtic was spotted at Boston Barber & Tattoo Co.’s North End location for a haircut and beard trim Thursday night.

According to barber Roy Rodriguez, Hayward’s wife, Robyn Hayward, had left an inquiry via voicemail to set up an appointment before the forward’s upcoming press conference. His wife has previously taken credit for the 27-year-old’s notable transformation from his formerly boyish looks.
Rodriguez told Boston.com that Hayward requested the Pompadour, which is a slicked-back style with lots of volume in the front and tapered, well-blended sides. To avoid attention from fans, he recommended that the NBA All-Star come right before the shop closed at 8 p.m.
The entire haircut lasted about two hours, giving the two plenty of time to talk about the city and Hayward’s move. Per Rodriguez, the former Butler player is loving Boston and looking forward to starting the season.
“He honestly was one of the nicest guys in the world,” he said. “Gordon was just like any other customer in the shop.”
Also on Thursday, Hayward was spotted at Jos A. Bank and L’Osteria, an Italian restaurant in the North End.
