The fledgling 3-on-3 basketball league, BIG3, might have a Celtics legend joining its ranks in the not-too-distant future. And his team would probably dominate the league.
Paul Pierce, who is adjusting to life in retirement from his NBA playing days, was recently interviewed on the subject of BIG3 basketball by Michael Rapaport. He discussed a few topics, including who he would want on his own team, should the former Celtic ever start one.
“Hey man, you never know,” Pierce said about the possibility of joining the new league. “I might try to convince KG, Kob[e]. Maybe we could setup our own team next year.”
