Isaiah Thomas has run the gamut of bemusing social media activity, from tweeting out cryptic emojis to following (and unfollowing) possible free agent acquisitions.

With the league moratorium set to begin on July 1, it appears that Thomas has adopted a much more direct approach to his recruiting methods.

Following the reported trade that would send Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets, SLAMOnline shared a commemorative photo of Paul with two of his former teammates, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. Griffin, of course, is one of the Celtics’ offseason signing targets.

Thomas used the photo as an opportunity to congratulate the trio on their accomplishments in Los Angeles before inviting Griffin to join his squad: “Hellavu run. Now Blake on over to Boston lol.”

Thomas’ shenanigans, however, didn’t stop there. He also liked a photo posted by CSSNE that featured two of the team’s other offseason signing targets, Gordon Hayward and Paul George, wearing Celtics’ uniforms.

His wife, Kayla, even got in on the action by liking three photos from Hayward’s wife’s account. Hayward’s wife, Robyn, has also been stirring up drama on the social media platform.
