7 game-changing plays the Celtics made in Game 7
Game 7 wasn’t only about Kelly Olynyk.
The Celtics power forward scored 26 points in 28 minutes vs. the Wasington Wizards, saving several of his biggest plays for the 4th quarter, when he dropped 14.
But the Celtics were led in scoring by Isaiah Thomas, and aided by contributions up and down the roster. Here are seven critical plays made by seven different Celtics players in the 115-105 win.
Marcus Smart
Smart had 13 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks in the game, including this pursuit of Otto Porter on the fast break. Just watch how Smart swallows up the ball right after (if that were a stat, he’d lead the league)

Isaiah Thomas
Sometimes the body control is just unfair.

Jaylen Brown
What do you do when Marcin Gortat pulls a swim move and throws you onto the parquet? Get the rebound anyway.
That hustle. 💯 #SCtop10 pic.twitter.com/8LhE9MAyoJ

Kelly Olynyk
You could highlight any of Olynyk’s 10 scoring plays, but none better describes his value than this one. Watch how 3 defenders are tracking Thomas here, and watch how quickly and decisively Olynyk takes advantage of it.
Kelly Olynyk fakes the handoff and drives to the rack for the and-one bucket! https://t.co/rXH9RWocaT

Avery Bradley
There are times when Bradley is a two-way monster, a suffocating defender and a dynamic scorer. Bradley didn’t have a great game 7, but he flashed his potential here.
Avery Bradley continues to amaze on both ends of the court! https://t.co/G6HdOPLUa3

Terry Rozier
If we could bottle up this kid’s energy and feed it intravenously to someone for 48 consecutive minutes, we’d have created the best player in the league.
IT beats Wall off the dribble then the hustle play of Terry Rozier gets another bucket for Boston! https://t.co/gSZg69yl1j

Al Horford
Watch the picks Horford sets out top, then watch him calmly drain every 3-pointer like there’s no chance he’ll miss.
