Paul Pierce can take a joke.

So when Pierce’s former coach, Doc Rivers, sent Pierce a wheelchair during a roundtable featuring players from the Celtics’ 2008 championship team, Pierce took it in stride.

You may recall that during the 2008 NBA Finals, Pierce required the services of the chair after injuring himself in Game 1 against the Lakers. Pierce miraculously returned to the game. He has taken crap for it ever since.
