Isaiah Thomas delivered his 53-point performance on his sister’s birthday

Isaiah Thomas scored a career-high 53 points against the Washington Wizards Wednesday night, willing the Celtics to victory in Game 2 of the playoff series between the two teams.
Afterward, Thomas — who attended the funeral of his sister, Chyna over the weekend — revealed Tuesday would have been Chyna’s 23rd birthday.
“Everything I do is for her,” said Thomas. “And she’s watching over me, so that’s all her.”
