Al Horford is richly deserving of your praise
Al Horford’s contract dominates any discussion of his game, and it has dominated his tenure with the Celtics.
There are some who feel that the most impressive numbers Horford has put up in his first season with the Celtics are on his paycheck. The team could list him on its roster as Max Contract, because the contract is all some talk about when they watch Horford.
Too bad. They’re missing out on a wonderful basketball player.
Rest assured, the Celtics have no buyer’s remorse about backing up the Brink’s truck for Horford in free agency, and contests such as Game 1 of the team’s Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Washington Wizards are why.
