Young fan’s profane reaction to Celtics loss goes viral
With 3.3 seconds remaining in Game 1 of the Celtics-Bulls first-round playoff series, Jimmy Butler hit two free throws to give Chicago a two-possession lead over the top-seeded C’s. The baskets sealed a 106-102 victory for the away team, leaving many Boston fans disappointed with the result.
But none seemed more upset than a young Celtics supporter, who was captured on national television expressing himself with a very choice word, likely to his parents’ chagrin.

Other accounts quickly drew parallels to another emotional young fan, the “crying Northwestern kid,” whose meltdown was caught on national television when the Wildcats lost 79-73 to the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.
