Isaiah Thomas has right to question coaching decisions

LOS ANGELES — As his responsibility has increased, his role has expanded and his importance to the Celtics’ success has soared, Isaiah Thomas has steadily voiced his opinions about the organization and the decisions of coach Brad Stevens, especially after difficult losses.

Such was the case following Monday’s frustrating 116-102 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, a game the Celtics actually led, 66-53, with just over four minutes left in the third quarter. The total collapse began when Stevens decided to use a rather unusual, scoring-challenged lineup late in the period that sparked a 22-5 quarter-ending run for the Clippers.
