Ray Allen is apparently pondering a comeback

He probably still shoots 300 threes a day.

After more than two years of retirement, the NBA’s all-time leader in 3-pointers is considering a return to professional basketball.

Ray Allen, now 41, retired following the Miami Heat’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the 2014 NBA Finals. But the sharpshooting guard has been reaching out to several teams about a potential comeback, according to multiple reports.

Not surprisingly, the teams that Allen has been linked with include the Warriors and Cavaliers. The Clippers and Spurs have also been mentioned.

In his career, Allen not only set the career record for 3-pointers, but was also extremely accurate, hitting exactly 40-percent of his attempts from beyond the arc. He won two championships, the first coming with the Celtics in 2008 and the second with the Heat in 2013.
