Jae Crowder was there. Isaiah Thomas, too.
The two core Celtics players were part of Boston’s recruiting effort Friday night to land free agent Al Horford, according to the Boston Globe. Naturally, Celtics executives were also in attendance.
A league source told the Globe Boston has “a good chance” of signing Horford, who is expected to make his decision sometime over the weekend, according to The Vertical.
Sources: Free agent Al Horford held four meetings today — including Houston, Washington — and plans to make a decision over weekend.
