Danny Ainge’s continued success in rebuilding the Boston Celtics’ roster is not going unnoticed by his NBA colleagues.

The Celtics’ president of basketball operations came in sixth place in the Executive of the Year award voting for the 2015-2016 season, the league announced on Monday. R.C. Buford of the San Antonio Spurs won the award with 77 total points in the voting.  Portland’s Neil Olshey finished second with 63 points and Golden State’s Bob Myers was third with 38 points.
