Avery Bradley is ‘very unlikely’ to return to Celtics’ playoff series vs. Hawks
Avery Bradley is “very unlikely” to return to the Celtics’ playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks, coach Brad Stevens announced Sunday. The shooting guard suffered a hamstring injury during the fourth quarter of Boston’s 102-101 Game 1 loss on Saturday.

Stevens also told reporters Bradley did not get an MRI, via CSNNE.com.
“When I came down, I felt weird,” Bradley said Saturday after the game. “I took a few steps and I just couldn’t walk.”
Bradley was helped off the court after sustaining the injury while defending Hawks guard Jeff Teague on a driving layup.

Evan Turner and Marcus Smart will likely take on bigger roles without Bradley in the lineup. Rookie Terry Rozier, who did not play in Game 1, may also see an increased role.
“Things like this have happened all my life,” Rozier told CSNNE.com. “I have an opportunity. It’s up to me to make the most of it.”
