Watch Kristaps Porzingis deny three Celtics at the rim…in six seconds
Only two players in the last 10 seasons have had more blocks through their first 40 NBA games (Brook Lopez 83, Sean Williams 82) than the New York Knicks’ Latvian rookie Kristaps Porzingis. Two of Porzingis’s 79 blocks on the year — and an impressive challenge of another shot — came in one possession Tuesday night in Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks led the Celtics by one in the fourth quarter when Marcus Smart, Jared Sullinger, and Jonas Jerebko had close shots at the rim, only to find themselves denied by the 7’3’’ big man.

Porzingis has had a fairly impressive rookie season thus far, averaging 13.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, and currently sits seventh in the NBA in blocks with 1.98 blocks per contest.
Plus, he can also do this.
