The Timberwolves bench can’t contain Kevin Garnett’s enthusiasm

When Kevin Garnett was playing in Boston, his on-court gestures were as much a part of the show as the shot-blocking and the rebounding and the winning.

Garnett’s a little older now, and he’s playing less — 15.5 minutes per game in six games for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season — but that lack of playing time has in no way dampened his enthusiasm. During Minnesota’s 117-107 win over the Atlanta Hawks Monday night, Garnett played 18 minutes and scored four points, then watched from the bench as his team tried to close out the game after blowing a 34-point lead. During one particulary crucial Atlanta miss, Garnett let everyone in the building know how he felt.
