Hard Truth: Paul Pierce’s ceremonial first pitch was ugly
It wasn’t pretty when Paul Pierce stepped up to the mound for “Clippers Night’’ at Dodgers Stadium on Tuesday night. Pierce, who just signed a three-year deal with the Clippers, shortarmed his ceremonial opening pitch.

The boos poured in before and after the pitch. LA seems to be forgetting that Pierce grew up in Inglewood, California. He may have played in the east for 17 years — and been something of a Laker killer — but California was his home.
At least Pierce is getting closer to the plate?
