Reports: Celtics agree to two-year deals with forwards Amir Johnson, Jonas Jerebko
After using three of their four NBA Draft picks on guards, the Celtics are adding to their frontcourt early on in NBA free agency.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports and USA Today’s Sam Amick, the Celtics are adding ten-year NBA veteran Amir Johnson and bringing back Jonas Jerebko on two-year deals. Johnson’s deal is reportedly worth $24 million, and Jerebko’s is worth a reported $10 million.

Johnson averaged 9.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game for Toronto last season. The 28-year-old has a career .573 field goal percentage and has some positional flexibility at 6’8’’ and 210 pounds.
Jerebko was acquired via trade last season and averaged 7.1 points per game in Boston. The 6’10’’ Jerebko is a solid stretch-four off the bench, and he shot over 40 percent from three-point range last season in a Celtics uniform.
