Ladies and gentlemen, meet the Boston Celtics’ 2015 draft class.

Amid swirling trade rumors, the Celtics began the night with four selections: Nos. 16, 28, 33 and 45. Rather than swapping any of those picks to move up or to land a veteran star, general manager Danny Ainge made all four selections on Thursday night.[fragment number=0][fragment number=1]

In the first round, the Celtics drafted guards Terry Rozier and R.J. Hunter with the 16th and 28th picks, respectively. In the second round, the team tapped power forward Jordan Mickey and guard Marcus Thornton with the 33rd and 45th picks, respectively.

With a roster seemingly deep at the guard spots even ahead of the draft, the selection of three backcourt players seemed curious to some.

“They’re determined to be a 6’7’’-and-under team,’’ former NBA player and current ESPN analyst Jalen Rose quipped late in the draft broadcast. “They’re working on it.’’

With the NBA’s free agency period looming and the start of the 2015-2016 season still months away, there may still be dramatic changes in store for the Green.

What do you think of the draft haul?
