The Celtics are looking to trade up in the 2015 NBA Draft, and Danny Ainge might be willing to give up Marcus Smart to do it.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the Celtics offered Smart and the 16th and 28th selections in the 2015 NBA Draft to the Philadelphia 76ers for Nerlens Noel and the third overall pick.

Smart, the sixth overall pick in the 2014 draft, finished fifth in the NBA Rookie of the Year voting after averaging 7.8 points for the Celtics last season.

Noel, an Everett, Massachusetts native, finished third in the Rookie of the Year voting and was the only player in the NBA to finish in the top 10 in both steals and blocks per game. Selected sixth overall in the 2013 NBA Draft, he missed all of the 2013-14 season with a knee injury.

The Celtics also have the 33rd and 45th selections in Thursday’s draft.
