Dwyane Wade is really excited to wear a Harvard sweater
NBA star Dwyane Wade’s decision to spend this week taking a class at Harvard Business School isn’t just for the knowledge, he said on Wednesday.
“Plus, I get to have a Harvard sweater. I can’t wait,’’ he said on his Snapchat, breaking into a smile. “I can’t wait to put on that Harvard sweater.’’
While his former teammate LeBron James is shining in the spotlight of the NBA Finals, Wade is spending his week in the quiet college town. His four-day class at Harvard – err, “Havard,’’ as he misspelled it – covers the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports.
Wade, who skipped his senior year at Marquette University for the NBA, has been narrating his Harvard time over on his Snapchat.
He has posted an endearingly earnest series of videos of himself walking around campus, showing off his small dorm room, and laboring over a hefty study packet. You can follow his Cambridge adventures at mrwade82.
