Who could the Celtics target in free agency?
The Celtics were the feel-good story of the Boston sports scene this winter, as Brad Stevens led a lineup that was continuously rotating during the year to the playoffs, where they took on the eventual Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs dispatched the Celtics in four games, but not before the team brought high-energy and downright fun basketball back to Boston.
If the Celtics want to become a true contender, however, they’ll need to bring in some true stars, and president of basketball operations Danny Ainge has his work cut out for him. Here’s a look at some free agents that the Celtics could go after this summer.
