Celebrity chef attempts to woo Paul Pierce to Wizards with monthly meals
Jose Andres is a noted chef, restaurateur, and frequent television guest of Anthony Bourdain. He’s also, apparently, a pretty big Paul Pierce fan.
Andres tweeted to Pierce Thursday, imploring the food-loving free agent to stay with the Washington Wizards.

One of the chef’s most famous restaurants is the DC-based minibar, a locale whose whimsical dishes are meant to be “savored, pondered, and sometimes puzzled over.’’ Andres didn’t specify the meals he’d make Pierce, but we’re guessing they’d be labor-intensive.
In a tweet Thursday, a popular Celtics blog called for Boston chefs to step up and woo Pierce. Paging Ken Oringer.
