Check out the Celtics’ leaked 2015 Christmas jerseys
Boston Celtics fans just got an extra-early Christmas present.
Uni Watch’s Paul Lukas published leaked designs of the 2015 NBA Christmas jerseys for 27 teams, including the Celtics, on Wednesday.
The league’s Christmas schedule has yet to be released and since only some teams get to play on that day, there is no guarantee these jerseys will actually ever be worn in a live NBA game.
Lukas said he obtained the renderings from an industry source.
According to Lukas, the font of the chest insignia are “meant to evoke the feel of the fancy script on a Christmas card.’’ Additionally, the NBA logo on the top of the jerseys’ back — look close — will be shown in a “splotch of sealing wax.’’ Again, like an old-fashioned Christmas card.
The NBA has yet to confirm whether these designs are the official 2015 Christmas attire, but so far the reception on social media has been warm as a Yule log (especially compared to pastyears).

Until now, the most innovative Christmas attire had been that of Los Angeles Clippers’ reserve Spencer Hawes.
