Celtics big man Tyler Zeller has blocked 50 shots this season, but if his younger brother Cody is to be believed, that’s a disappointingly low total for the greatest rim protector in Nerf basketball history.

“As kids, Tyler used to stand in front of the Nerf hoop and block every single one of my shots,’’ Cody Zeller said in an editorial for The Player’s Tribune. “I remember crying because Tyler was relentless with the blocks.’’

As the youngest of three future NBA big men, Cody Zeller told his story about fighting for attention and trying to follow and surpass the achievements of his brothers Luke (the oldest) and Tyler.

From stealing Tyler’s spotlight in a high school playoff game, forging autographs for fans who can’t tell the brothers apart, and being coaxed into splitting dinner bills as a rookie, Cody Zeller tells a story of brotherly love and competition.
