Danny Ainge and the Celtics have been wheeling and dealing all season as the rebuilding process accelerates, and a whopping 40 players have been employed by the team in the 2014-15 season.

Joel Anthony, Chris Babb, Brandon Bass, Keith Bogans, Avery Bradley, Will Bynum, Jae Crowder, Luigi Datome, Andre Dawkins, Chris Douglas-Roberts, Jarrell Eddie, Vitor Faverani, Tim Frazier, Jeff Green, Kris Humphries, Jonas Jerebko, Chris Johnson, John Lucas III, Rodney McGruder, Erik Murphy, Jameer Nelson, Kelly Olynyk, Dwight Powell, Phil Pressey, Tayshaun Prince, Shavlik Randolph, Austin Rivers, Nate Robinson, Rajon Rondo, Marcus Smart, Jared Sullinger, Isaiah Thomas, Malcolm Thomas, Marcus Thornton, Evan Turner, Gerald Wallace, Christian Watford, Brandan Wright, James Young, and Tyler Zeller have all been Celtics at one point or another.

Ainge has made 11 trades since July, including sending team captain Rajon Rondo to Dallas. The trade the Celtics didn’t make – for Kevin Love – seemed to indicate a painful season in Boston, but Ainge’s trigger finger and head coach Brad Stevens’ ability to make the most of the situation, the Celtics are just one game out of the playoffs in late February.
