Celtics Summer League Schedule Released

The Celtics will field a team for the Orlando Summer League, starting July 5. The Orlando Magic, Brooklyn Nets, Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder and Philadelphia 76ers will also participate.
Here’s Boston’s schedule of games, which will be aired on NBA TV. The event is not open to the public:
Saturday, July 5: Boston vs. OKC, 11 a.m.
Monday, July 7: Boston vs. Indiana, 3 p.m.
Wednesday, July 9: Boston vs. Detroit, 7 p.m.
Thursday, July 10: Boston vs. Orlando, 5 p.m.
Friday, July 11: Championship Day, TBD
You’ll remember last year’s summer league as the time we first found out that Kelly Olynyk was a lock to have a better career than Dirk Nowitzki. Olynyk averaged 18.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.8 steals. This year, Olynyk could join the two rookies the Celtics are likely to draft, Chris Babb, Phil Pressey, and maybe even Jared Sullinger on Boston’s summer league squad.
