Rajon Rondo dislocates elbow, returns to game
Celtics guard Rajon Rondo suffered a dislocated left elbow in the third quarter and went to the locker room for treatment, escorted by team doctor Brian McKeon and Celtics GM Danny Ainge.
While in the locker room, the Celtics diagnosed Rondo with a dislocated left elbow, and McKeon was able to put the elbow back in place. Rondo returned to the game to start the fourth quarter.
Rondo had to be taken off the court after being taken down by Heat guard Dwyane Wade with 7:02 in the third quarter. Wade grabbed Rondo and pulled him to the ground, and Rondo’s arm seemed to bend underneath him in a way no arm should ever bend.
