Storylines:
Fight night?: WWE Raw took over American Airlines Arena last night. Will the Celtics take a cue and come out fighting? Doc Rivers said the Heat were “chippy”, not physical, in Game 1. You would expect that the Celtics come out and try to set some kind of physical tone early, whether that’s with a hard foul or some other kind of physical play. Expect some early double-technicals in tonight’s game.
Rondo sets the tone: Rajon Rondo played just eight minutes in the first half of Game 1 due to foul trouble. The Celtics need Rondo on the floor, and they need him to be good, in order to win this series.
Pierce’s response: Paul Pierce is someone who plays well with a chip on his shoulder. He has plenty to prove tonight against Miami after being ejected in Game 1. He needs to stay composed but also come out and make his mark on the game early.
