Avery Bradley is warming up on the parquet right now, which got me thinking: If Rondo can’t start, who guards Chauncey Billups tonight?
When I think Billups and Boston I think of The Tony Allen game, where Allen bit on a Billups up-fake and sent the Pistons guard to the line to win the game. Allen had a hard time guarding Billups. Bradley is the new Allen, or is supposed to be in a season or two. Can he guard Billups in stretches tonight? Bradley seems to be the only Celtic with the body type to guard Billups, and he might get the chance to do so.
As far as the starters, if Rondo can’t go, Nate Robinson figures to start. Can’t imagine Doc Rivers would start Robinson on Billups on defense, so maybe Ray Allen starts the game guarding Chauncey.
