Welcome to the Garden, where the Boston Celtics (1-0) will take on the Charlotte Bobcats (0-0) at 7:30 p.m.

The deluge outside didn’t stop Celtics players from arriving early to the arena. Ray Allen (above) and Rajon Rondo are on the court right now getting up some shots. Strange not to see Glen Davis, who is out for two months following surgery on his thumb. Davis is usually the first Celtic, along with Allen, on the parquet for warmups.

It’s opening night for the Bobcats, but the Celtics have already gotten one 48-minute run under the belts, defeating the Cavaliers 95-89 last night in Cleveland. Tonight, then, is all about introducing the home fans to the new faces — Rasheed Wallace and Marquis Daniels primarily. It will be interesting to see how many ‘Sheed jerseys are in the crowd for Game 1.

And if you didn’t bring a ‘Sheed jersey, don’t fret. The Celtics have neatly placed a green, opening night T-shirt on your chair. On the front of the shirt, along with a Celtics logo, is the word “Reloaded”.
