TD BANKNORTH GARDEN — Welcome to the Garden, where the Boston Celtics (28-5) will take on the Washington Wizards (6-24) at 7:30 p.m.
Remember Opening Night last season when Gilbert Arenas called out the Celtics before the game and predicted a Wizards win? Well so far, this year’s Wizards stink. Arenas is on the parquet right now doing a little dribbling, but he has not played this season following knee surgery. Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison, the team’s other two stars, have been banged up lately, but both are warming up about five feet away from me, and both look good to go.
Expect a lively crowd tonight. There seem to be a lot of people off of work and hanging around downtown.
