Celtics center Kendrick Perkins says his team has been waiting a long time for this night.
“We said this at the beginning of the year,” said Perkins. “We have to get through Cleveland. We have to get through Detroit. Those were the two teams in the Eastern Conference Finals last year. We knew they had something that we want. They still do. So we have to get through them to complete our journey.”
