Pierce takes it down a notch
Paul Pierce was nervous before Game 1 against the Cavaliers Tuesday night. Really nervous.
He’s much better this evening.
“I don’t feel like I took 10 Red Bulls today,” said Pierce. “You get that way sometimes. You get anxious. You want to go out there and do well so bad, you need to take a deep breath and slow down….I’m alright today. I’m more settled down, just thinking about what I have to do to help my ball club win.”
Pierce said the Celtics can improve on the 76 points they scored in Game 1.
“We need to move the ball, make the extra pass, cut down on our turnovers,” said Pierce. “I think we have some opportunities to get out on the break.”
