KG honored to get votes
Kevin Garnett finished third in the NBA’s MVP voting behind Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul. When asked how he felt that he didn’t win, Garnett said he was honored just to get votes.
“Anytime you votes for any kind of award in this league is always a pleasure,” he said. “I have always been privileged…Players sometimes think it’s all about them and they don’t understand the other four guys that are out there on the floor with you, along with those guys on the bench make a lot of things happen. I am privileged for that and I thank you for who voted for me.”
