Welcome to the Garden, where the Boston Celtics will take on the Atlanta Hawks in Game 7 of their first round NBA playoff series this afternoon at 1 p.m. The series is tied, 3-3, and the loser of this game will be eliminated from the playoffs.
It’s kind of a subdued atmosphere this morning at the Garden, most likely due to the early start time and the fact that most Celtics fans didn’t expect the series to drag on this long.
They’ve expanded the media section to about three times its normal size. With the possibility of the biggest upset in NBA playoff history, the national media wants to be a witness to the spectacle.
