Joe Johnson hit a pair of three pointers late, but Paul Pierce answered on the other end as the Celtics got everything they could have wanted in the first quarter.
Pierce is leading the Celtics with nine points. Kendrick Perkins has eight points.
Johnson has nine points for the Hawks, who are shootng just 26 percent. Johnson is 3 of 6, so the Hawks might want to get it to him a little more.
