‘There’s no panic’
The national spotlight shined back on the Celtics when the Hawks tied this series 2-2 earlier this week. To the general public, the Celtics were suddenly vulnerable.
“There’s no panic,” Celtics guard Sam Cassell said after the game. “We wasn’t down in the series. They just did what they had to do at home, they tied the series up, so we had to take care of our home court.
“People don’t realize this is why we work so hard during the course of the regular season, to get home-court advantage. So we got home-court advantage…This is how you reward yourself.”
