Game 3’s next …
The Celtics and Hawks will play Game 3 of their series Saturday at 8 p.m. in Atlanta.
“You have to expect a better team,” said Paul Pierce. “Most teams in the NBA play better when they’re at home. They’ll have their home crowd behind them. They’ll be better prepared. So we have to bring or “A” game. I don’t think we’ve played our best game yet. So we’ve got to be ready for a test down in Atlanta on the road.”
Rajon Rondo said the Celtics are confident but know they have a lot of work to do.
“We want to stay humble, stay grounded,” said Rondo. “We held them to 39% shooting tonight again. I think that’s excellent for us, for our team defense. Like I said, we want to keep improving. We watch the film as a team about five or six times. We are going to have the same approach next game, just trying to get better.”
