The Celtics have spread the scoring around in the first half, with six players scoring at least six points.

Sam Cassell (8 points) carried the load for the bench, but the Celtics opened up a lead when they brought the Big Three back into the game at the end of the quarter.

Josh Smith is leading the Hawks with 10 points and 5 rebounds.

Tonight’s crowd isn’t as emotionally charged as the crowd for Game 1. You could feel the anticipation in the building Sunday night. The feel tonight is more of a, let’s-get-down-to-business, with a little scream-at-Mike-Bibby mixed in.

  • Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis checked in for the first time this series with less than a minute to play in the half. He picked up a foul and was removed from the game 20 seconds later.
  • Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas is in the house. Patriots owner Robert Kraft, along with his wife Myra, are also sitting courtside.
