Doc Rivers was right. Game 1 was higher on emotions, but we’ve seen better basketball tonight in Game 2.

The Hawks are still in the game, despite having six turnovers and just three assists. They are shooting 41 percent.

Leon Powe received a huge ovation when he checked into the game for Kendrick Perkins. Perkins picked up two quick blocking fouls on drives by Mike Bibby.

  • There were pyrotechnics before the game, but it’s not nearly as smoky in here as during Game 1.
