Celtics players were given playoff gift baskets by the Celtics’ wives before the game. One of them, addressed to Scot Pollard, had two player-shaped cookies with No. 66 written on them in frosting. The baskets all came with “Ubuntu” headbands, a bottle of champagne, and a large baby blue box from Tiffany’s.

  • They added a third press row to deal with the extra credentialed media. The locker room was downright packed today. And it’s only Game 1 of the first round.
  • KG made his usual pregame walk through the locker room without saying a word.
  • Bob Cousy and Cheryl Miller are in the house.
